Chris Kreider has started the 2016-17 season on fire. The power forward has points in each of the Blueshirts’ first four games. Kreider has three goals and four assists for seven points and leads all Rangers in scoring. In four games against the Caps last season, Kreider scored three times.

Zibanejad Zeroed In

Offseason acquisition Mika Zibanejad has been just as hot as Kreider has been in the early going. The 23-year old center has points in three of four games this season and currently sits with two goals and three assists for five points.

Stingy Caps

The Blueshirts’ high-powered offense will be facing the NHL’s No. 1 defensive team tonight. The Caps have limited their opponents to only five goals in four games and are 2-0 on home ice with only one goal against.

Ovie vs. The Rangers

In 44 lifetime contests versus the Rangers, Alex Ovechkin has 27 goals and 15 assists for 42 points. Last season in five tilts, Ovechkin scored five goals with three coming on the power play.
