    MSG Networks And ESPN Deportes Nueva York 1050 AM Announce Radio Broadcasting Agreement For Knicks Basketball


    Schedule to Include 60 Games for the 2013-14 NBA Season

    New York, NY (October 15, 2013) – MSG Networks and ESPN Deportes Nueva York 1050AM announced a broadcasting agreement that will make 1050AM the Spanish radio broadcast home of the New York Knicks during the 2013-14 NBA season. The Knicks on 1050AM start with the season opener against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. E.T.

    The agreement features a 60-game schedule and a continuation of a multi-tiered cross-promotional effort between The Madison Square Garden Company, including the Knicks and MSG Networks, and ESPN Radio.

    The Knicks Spanish radio broadcast team will include play-by-play veteran Clemson Smith Muñiz, who is also the voice of the New York Jets on 1050AM, and in-game analyst Tiny Cains. Jerry Olaya and Felipe López will also contribute to broadcasts during the season.
