TWO GAMES, TWO DAYS
Both the Devils and Blues are coming off road losses last night, as they get set to meet tonight at the Prudential Center. The Devils fell 5-2 to the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, while the Blues were edged 3-2 by the New York Islanders in Brooklyn.
NEARLY PERFECT AT PRU
The Devils return home where they own an NHL-best, 8-0-2 mark on home ice. The Devils are the NHL’s only club not to have lost a single game in regulation on home ice, marking the longest such run in franchise history.
Taylor Hall scored a goal and added an assist in Montreal, and tonight plays in his 400th NHL game. Despite missing eight games with an injury, Hall enters tonight’s tilt scoring with 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) in 18 games.
Blues forward Robby Fabbri continued his recent rock-solid play, scoring his sixth goal of the season and adding an assist against the Islanders last night in Brooklyn. Fabbri enters tonight’s game with five points (two goals, three assists) in his past five games.
HENRIQUE GETTING GOING
Adam Henrique scored the Devils’ first goal and assisted on Taylor Hall’s power-play tally Thursday in a 5-2 loss to Montreal. Henrique now has three points (two goals, one assist) in his past three games and has six goals and seven assists for 13 points this season.
