1 Battle of the Backups

Keith Kinkaid will be in net tonight for the Devils, while Mike Condon gets the start for the Senators. When these teams met last week, Kinkaid replaced Cory Schnieder to start the third period and saved all nine shots he faced as the Devils came back for a 5-4 OT victory.

2 Well-Rested

Tonight is the first time the Devils have played since last Friday, a 3-0 loss to the Sharks. With the long layoff, the Devils had plenty of time to work on their craft, but will it be beneficial?

3 Missing In Action

Each team will be missing one of their top offensive threats tonight. The Devils will be without Kyle Palmieri (lower body injury) and the Senators will play without Kyle Turris, who is out for two games with a viral infection.
