1 Devils Banged Up After Boston

The Devils suffered significant losses in their defeat to the Bruins, as both Cory Schneider and Marcus Johansson were forced to leave the game due to injury.

There is no word on their status yet for tonight’s game, though hockey insider Bob McKenzie is reporting that Johansson may have suffered another concussion.

2 Appleby to Get His Chance?

If Schneider can’t suit up, the man in between will be Ken Appleby for the Devils.

The rookie made his NHL debut in Saturday’s loss to the Flyers in relief of an injury Keith Kinkaid, stopping 24 shots. He stopped four shots in relief of Schneider against the Bruins.

3 Severson Heating Up

Damon Severson scored his third goal in his last five games Tuesday in Boston and logged a team-leading 23:35 of ice time.

4 Scouting the Preds

Led by the charismatic P.K. Subban, the defending Western Conference Champions are in good position to return to the playoffs.

Nashville is just two points out of the Central Division lead with games in hand on the division-leading Jets. Subban leads the Predators with 35 points (11 goals, 24 assists) in 46 games this year.
