1 Won't Back Down

This year, the Islanders have not gone back-to-back tilts without notching a point. That said, this club knows how to fight back after taking a loss, in which they fell 5-2 Wednesday to Dallas.

Under head coach Doug Weight, the Islanders are 8-0-1 in a game following a loss by three or more goals.

2 Greiss Gets the Go

After relieving Jaroslav Halak in the second half during their matchup with the Stars, Thomas Greiss is expected to start in net on the second half of the Isles’ back-to-back against Columbus.

3 Anders Watch

Anders Lee notched two goals against Dallas, leading the Isles with 19 goals on the year and pacing the NHL at third overall behind just Nikita Kucherov and Alex Ovechkin.

4 Dubinsky Out

Columbus will take the ice without their captain, Brandon Dubinsky, who suffered a broken orbital bone against the Oilers on Tuesday night. He will be out 6-8 weeks.
