2 O Captain! My Captain!

Captain John Tavares scored a goal and had two assists in Saturday’s win, tying him with Brent Sutter for 7th place on the all-time Islanders assist list.

Tavares now has three consecutive multi-assists games and two consecutive three-point gams.

Thomas Greiss gets the call in net tonight for the Isles.

On Saturday, Greiss made 26 saves and improved to 9-4-2 on the season. He has yet to lose on regulation on Barclays Center ice this season (5-0-2 ).
