Doug Weight reached 30 wins faster than any Isles coach in history after the Isles’ 6-3 win over the Golden Knights Monday. Weight sports an impressive 31-16-5 career record and will look to improve on it tonight in Washington.

Josh Bailey continues to pile on the points this season and currently has a six-game assist streak and a seven-game point streak. Bailey recorded three assists on Monday and continues to excel on the top line with John Tavares.

Playing the Caps means going up against Alex Ovechkin, a tall task for any opposing defense. Ovechkin is third in the NHL this season with 10 goals and has enjoyed great success against the Isles in the past. In 46 games, the Capitals’ captain has recorded 50 points (34 goals, 16 assists).
