1 End of the Road... For Now

Tonight marks the final game of a three-game road trip for the Knicks (0-2 so far).

However, after returning home for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs, they embark on yet another three-game road trip.

The Knicks have struggled on the road this season (2-12) but New Orleans hasn’t been great at home either (9-8).

2 Working His Way Back

Kristaps Porzingis has not been the same player that dominated the league over the first quarter of the season since returning from a knee injury.

In the five games since, he’s averaging 18.6 points and shooting 34.4% from the field and 27.3% from three.

3 Fire And Ice

The nickname for the Pelicans’ dynamic frontcourt duo of Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins.

The two big men are averaging a combined 51.8 points, 22.6 rebounds, and 3.57 blocks.

Kristaps Porzingis and Enes Kanter will have their hands full with them tonight.

4 Shoot the 3

Coach Jeff Hornacek says he is trying to ramp up the Knicks’ 3-point shooting, as the team ranks last in the NBA in both 3-point attempts (21.6) and made 3-pointers (7.8).

Tonight could be as good a night as any to start.

The Pelicans allow 11.9 threes per game, tied for most in the league, and in their last two games have allowed 22 and 19.
