1 The Last Time They Met ...

Tonight’s matchup in Ottawa will be the second time the Rangers have faced the Senators this season.

The Blueshirts blanked the Sens, 3-0, back on Nov. 19 behind a 20-save effort from Henrik Lundqvist and goals from three different Blueshirts (Michael Grabner, Mika Zibanejad and Kevin Hayes).

2 Hank Back in the Pipes

Lundqvist is expected to be back in goal for the Rangers tonight in Ottawa. The 35-year-old was stellar in his last effort against New Jersey, recording 26 saves in last Saturday’s 5-2 win over the Devils.

Lundqvist is also just four saves away from 20,000 on his career. Hank’s currently ninth in NHL history with 19,996 saves.

3 Hitting Another Marc

With another appearance, Marc Staal will surpass Ranger great Andy Bathgate for sole possession of 11th place on the Rangers’ All-Time games played list.

4 Spreading the Wealth

The Blueshirts are the only team in the NHL with 14 players who have recorded 10 points or more and the only team that has nine players who have recorded six or more goals.
