1 Top of the Heap

Heading into tonight’s game against the Canucks, the Devils lead the Metropolitan Division with an 8-2-0 record.

2 Welcome Back, Cory

Cory Schneider once plied his trade with the Canucks and will be returning to Vancouver tonight to play against the team that originally drafted him.

The 31-year-old played in 98 games with Vancouver and had a 55-26-8 record with .927 save percentage and a 2.20 goals against average. Schneider was traded to New Jersey during the 2013 NHL Draft for Bo Horvat. Schneider has a 4-1-2 record with a 1.97 GAA and a .929 percentage against the Canucks lifetime.

3 Road Warriors

The Devils are perfect away from Prudential Center this season and have a 4-0-0 record on the road. They’re the only team in the NHL without a regulation or OT/SO loss on the road.

4 Congrats, Captain!

Andy Greene missed Saturday’s win against Arizona for a very good reason: he and his wife welcomed a brand-new baby boy, Maddox David Greene, into the world!

It could be another milestone evening for the Devils’ captain tonight as he’s just two points shy from 200 in his career.

5 Boyle Strong

After being diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, Brian Boyle appears to be getting closer to getting back on the ice. The offseason signing is back skating with the team and was centering the Devils’ fourth line in practice Tuesday.
