These teams played Thursday in Brooklyn, with the Islanders winning a wild 10-goal affair. New York raced out to a 3-1 lead only to find themselves down 4-3 after two periods. Then, they rallied for three unanswered goals in the third period to escape with a 6-4 win.
What will the rematch have in store?
Both teams will be playing the second half of a back-to-back set today and both are coming off wins on Saturday. The Islanders took down the NHL-leading Lightning, while the Hurricanes beat the Sabres in Buffalo.
The Isles have had success in Raleigh, going 6-2-0 in their last eight games there.
The Isles have scored five or more goals in three straight games.

The Islanders (24 points) currently sit one point behind the Devils, Penguins and Blue Jackets in the Metro Division standings.
With those three teams idle on Sunday, a win today would vault the Isles to the top of the division!
