Despite losing Kristpas Porzingis minutes into the game, the Knicks were able to snap a three-game losing back on Nov. 29 behind 22 points and 14 rebounds from Enes Kanter, as they took out the Heat, 115-86, at The Garden.
Hassan Whiteside missed the game due to injury, but the Heat will have him in the lineup tonight.
The Knicks will be looking for a better performance out of their star player, Kristaps Porzingis tonight.
Porzingis averaged 27 points a game on 46% shooting in the first 18 games of the season but over the last 8 games, he’s averaging just 19 points per game on 36% shooting and has just 29 points in his past two games.
The former No. 2 overall pick is averaging 18.3 points per game in 25 minutes in his last 10 games.
Jarrett Jack has been a revelation for the Knicks and the veteran point guard has taken more of a scoring burden recently.
Jack is averaging 10.8 points per game and 5.8 assists in his last five games.
Led by Goran Dragic, the Heat have won their last two contests and seven of 10 and are sitting in seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
Dragic is averaging 16.7 points per game and had a game-high 13 assists in Miami’s win over Detroit on Wednesday.
