1 Porzingod

Kristaps Porzingis is taking the league by storm in his third season. He erupted for a career-high 40 points and six blocks in Sunday’s comeback victory. He has scored at least 30 points on seven of nine games and is second in the NBA in scoring.

2 Rookie Growing Up

Frank Ntilikina came up big in the fourth quarter on Sunday, draining two clutch 3-pointers and playing aggressive defense. With Ntilikina and Porzingis on the floor, the Knicks outscored the Pacers by 25 points in just 14 minutes.

3 Battle For The Boards

Two of the top rebounders in the NBA will go at it tonight, with Enes Kanter (11.3 rebounds) matching up against Hornets center Dwight Howard (13.8 rebounds). Whoever wins this battle down low will go a long way in determining which team comes out on top.

4 Defensive Stopper

Lance Thomas played a season-high 17 minutes off the bench Sunday, most of which came in the second half. Thomas was instrumental in the comeback, registering a plus-23 rating and played a key role in shutting down Indiana’s Victor Oladipo.

5 Local Kid Comes Home

Bronx native Kemba Walker returns to New York tonight. Walker has always brought his A-game when playing at The World’s Most Famous Arena, dating back to his college days at UCONN. Walker is the engine that makes the Hornets go, leading them in points, assists in steals.
