1 The Last Time They Met

This will be the second and final matchup between the two teams this season. The Timberwolves grabbed the first meeting in a 118-110 victory at the Target Center on Jan. 12.

New York will look to extend its two-game home winning streak at The Garden.

2 No Rose Return

This was supposed to be Derrick Rose‘s first game back at The Garden, but now he will be watching on the sidelines after suffering a sprained ankle on Tuesday.

He was also injured while a member of the Cavaliers and they came to town earlier this season.

In five games with the Timberwolves, Rose is averaging 6.6 points and 1.6 assists in 11.6 minutes.

3 Enes the Menace

Enes Kanter was fantastic Wednesday against the Heat, finishing with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

However, his most important contribution could be on defense tonight, as he will likely be tasked with defending Karl-Anthony Towns, who is averaging 28.2 points over his last five games.

4 Beas-Mode

Returning to Miami, the team that drafted him No. 2 overall in 2008, Michael Beasley exploded for 22 points (20 of which came in the first half) on 10-15 shooting while adding seven rebounds.

He even shared a brief moment with Heat owner Micky Arison

Beasley has now scored in double-figures in five of the past six games and will look to continue that trend tonight.

5 Playing Without Jimmy

All-Star Jimmy Butler will miss his 11th consecutive game tonight for the Timberwolves (knee).

So far, Minnesota is just 5-5 without him.

After looking like they were a lock to snap a 13-year playoff drought, the T-wolves have fallen to seventh place in the Western Conference and are just two games ahead of ninth-place Denver.
