1 HELLO, OLD FRIEND

The Devils will see Adam Henrique for the first time since trading him to Anaheim for Sami Vatanen on Nov. 30.

Henrique played in 455 games for New Jersey, scoring 122 goals and recording 135 assists. Adam has three goals and three assists in his eight tilts with the Ducks, the most points of any Anaheim player since the trade.

2 PALMIERI & HALL BOTH SET TO RETURN

After missing 12 games and almost a month with a foot injury, Kyle Palmieri will be back in the lineup tonight for the Devils.

Taylor Hall will also skate after missing two games with a knee injury. The two will most likely be reunited on the top line with Nico Hischier.

3 BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Brian Boyle, who is coming off his best game as a Devil, turns 33 today.

Boyle scored two goals, including the 100th of his career, and added an assist in New Jersey’s 5-2 win over the Stars Friday.

4 HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Tonight’s tilt will be the second game of New Jersey’s season-long, six-game homestand, which runs through December 29.

The Devs next host the Rangers Thursday.

5 ROOKIES SHINING

Jesper Bratt has been a pleasant surprise for the Devils this season. The rookie talks about his journey to New Jersey and how he plans to stick with the big club.

The Devils have three players in the top-10 of rookie scoring.

Jesper Bratt and Will Butcher rank 7th with 21 points, and Hischier is right behind them with 20.

6 THE OPPONENT

Though the Ducks are currently outside of playoff position, they are in the midst of a seven-game point streak, going 3-0-4.

Corey Perry leads the team with 22 points in 31 games and captain Ryan Getzlaf is playing in his fourth game since missing more than a month with an injury.
