1 Last Time They Met

Al Trautwig, Alan Hahn, and Wally Szczerbiak analyze a rugby-esque Knicks-Mavericks game in Dallas, where the Knicks eventually came away with the win in a rather controversial and rough battle.

The Knicks will be looking to sweep the season series after defeating the Mavericks, 100-96, back on January 7 in Dallas.

In the win, Enes Kanter posted 13 points and 18 rebounds while Kyle O’Quinn contributed with 15 points and 11 rebounds off the bench.

2 Rookie Showcase

Drafted 8th and 9th in the 2017 NBA Draft, respectively, guards Frank Ntilikina and Dennis Smith Jr. will be compared to each other for the remainder of their NBA careers.

In their first meeting, Ntilikina stuffed the stat sheet with seven points, six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal while Smith Jr. had 11 points and five assists.

3 Hello Old Friend

This will be the first time the Knicks will face Doug McDermott since he was part of the three-team trade that netted the Knicks Emmanuel Mudiay on February 8.

In 12 games with the Mavs, McDermott is averaging 9.9 points and 2.9 rebounds while shooting 47.1% from the field and 53.8% from three.

4 Timmy!

After a mid-season shooting slump, Tim Hardaway Jr. has really come on of late.

He scored a game-high 25 points on Sunday against the Raptors and is averaging 21.1 points on 46.3% shooting over the last 10 games.

5 Trainer's Room

Both Enes Kanter (back spasms) and Lance Thomas (thumb) were late scratches on Sunday.

They were both listed as limited participants in Monday’s practice and are considered questionable for tonight’s game.

6 Kornet Gets His Shot

With Kanter sidelined on Sunday, Luke Kornet made his first career start and was a bright spot for the Knicks.

Kornet scored a career-high 18 points with four rebounds, two assists, one block and three triples.
