
Al Trautwig

Al Trautwig has been a staple on MSG Networks since he joined the network in 1989 and is currently the pregame, postgame and intermission host for the Rangers.
Trautwig’s work has been recognized numerous times throughout his career. He won the New York Sportscaster of the Year award in 2000 and has received five New York Emmy Awards for sports writing (2012) and on-camera achievement (1996, 1997, 2000, and 2008). Trautwig has also been part of seven New York Emmy Award-winning teams at MSG Networks for “Outstanding Live Sports Coverage: Series” – for the Yankees in 1999 and 2000; the Knicks in 1992, 1997 and 2011; and the Rangers in 1994 and 2009. In addition to his duties with MSG Networks, Trautwig has been a part of the Olympic broadcast team 18 times, including the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Sochi 2014, Rio de Janeiro 2016, and PyeongChang 2018.
