New York, NY (September 16, 2019) – The New York Riptide of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), the largest professional lacrosse property in the world, today announced that nine games for the Riptide’s inaugural season will be telecast on MSG Networks. The first Riptide telecast on MSG Networks will be on December 14, 2019 against the Vancouver Warriors at 10 p.m. The full broadcast schedule is included below.The NLL awarded the New York franchise to live events and sports media entertainment company GF Sports in December 2018. The
Riptide will play home games at NYCB LIVE, Home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum when it begins play in December for the 2019-20 NLL season.

The Riptide is led by Head Coach and General Manager Regy Thorpe, a decorated former professional lacrosse player with more than 20 years experience as a coach and general manager at nearly every level of men’s and women’s field and box lacrosse. Thorpe and his staff have been hard at work building the roster for the Riptide’s inaugural season. Through the NLL Expansion Draft and free agency the team has acquired top-tier talent, led by veteran defenseman and NLL champion Dan MacRae, veteran forward Tyler Digby, defenseman John Ranagan who was named 2019 NLL Teammate of the Year, along with promising young talent in Connecticut native Connor Kelly and Long Island native Kieran McArdle. Up next the team will continue to expand its roster with the NLL Entry Draft on September 17, 2019 where the Riptide holds the first overall pick.
