SHIRT CANNON CHALLENGE

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

ELIGIBILITY: The Shirt Cannon Challenge (“Challenge”) is open to legal residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, 18 or older. Employees and other workers, including temporary employees, freelancers and independent contractors, of MSGN Holdings, L.P. (“Sponsor”), MSG Networks, Inc., New York Knicks, LLC (“Knicks”), the National Basketball Association and its member teams and NBA Properties, Inc. (collectively, “NBA Entities”), and all of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this Challenge. Challenge is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

CHALLENGE PERIOD: The Challenge will be available for play during Knicks games during the 2020-2021 regular season (each, a “Game”) beginning at 7:00 PM EST on December 23, 2020.

TO PLAY: If you have not already done so, download the MSG GO application to your smart phone and follow the directions provided to set-up an account. Downloading the application is free. You will need to verify that you currently subscribe to a participating television provider that offers the MSG Network channels. During any Game, once you have logged into your account, tap on the “Shirt Cannon” tab and follow the directions to play the match game. You can play the match game two (2) times during any Game. You will be awarded points based on your performance. Challenge play or points generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the game play process are void.

CHALLENGE PRIZE WINNER DETERMINATION: Potential winners will be determined following the Point Redemption Deadline (as defined below) based on the number of valid points remaining in your account. In the event of a tie for the Grand Prize, the prize will be divided equally among all eligible tied participants. In the event of a tie for any other prize, all tied individuals will receive the prize.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Grand Prize: $10,000.00. Second Prize: Knicks Jersey. ARV: $109.00-$279.00. Third Prize: Knicks Duffel bag, which includes t-shirt, hoodie and select swag items. ARV: $98.00. Fourth Prize: Knicks Hoodie. ARV: $25.00. Fifth Prize: Knicks T-Shirt. ARV: $15.00. The Grand through Fifth Prizes are referred to herein collectively as “Challenge Prizes.”

In addition to the Challenge Prizes described above, during the Challenge, participants will have the opportunity to redeem the points they’ve earned for items offered within the match game (“Point Redemption Prizes”). Exact details for each Point Redemption Prize will be provided at time of offering. If a participant chooses to redeem points for a Point Redemption Prize, those points will be subtracted from the total points earned up to that point in the Challenge, and such points will not be included in the participant’s final point amount at the end of the Challenge. Point Redemption Prizes cannot be returned or exchanged. The Challenge Prizes and the Point Redemption Prizes may also be referred to herein separately as a “prize” or collectively as “prizes.” ANY POINTS YOU WISH TO REDEEM FOR A POINT REDEMPTION PRIZE MUST BE REDEEMED BY NO LATER THAN THE POINT REDEMPTION DEADLINE INDICATED BY SPONSOR PRECEDING THE END OF THE KNICKS REGULAR SEASON (“Point Redemption Deadline”). Points not redeemed by this deadline will be void if you are not eligible to receive a Challenge Prize based on your point balance following the Point Redemption Deadline. Point Redemption Deadline will be posted within the MSG GO Application once it has been determined but no later than sixty (60) days prior to such date.

 Any game-related items provided as a prize will not be game used/worn. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Prize recipients may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Prize recipients are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including transportation to and from game. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. There is no limit on the number of Point Redemption Prizes a participant can receive provided the participant has earned enough points to redeem for the applicable Point Redemption Prize(s); however, if, for the entire Challenge, a participant redeems points for prize(s) valued at $600 or higher and/or wins a prize valued at $600 or higher, he/she may be required to complete a W-9 form in order for the Sponsor to issue a 1099 for the combined value of those  prizes. Limit of one (1) Challenge Prize per person.

CHALLENGE PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential Challenge Prize winners will be notified by phone and/or e-mail with instructions on how to claim the prize and must respond to the initial notification within the time period stated in that notification. Potential Challenge Prize winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within the time period stated in that notification in order to claim prize. If a potential Challenge Prize winner does not respond to the initial notification within the time period stated, the prize or prize notification is returned as undelivered, the potential Challenge Prize winner cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return all required documents within the required time period or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the potential Challenge Prize winner may be disqualified and forfeits the prize. In the event that the potential Challenge Prize winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the prize to a runner-up.

PUBLICITY GRANT: Prize recipients, by acceptance of a prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information, for advertising, trade and promotional purposes, in any manner, in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation or notification to, or permission from, winner.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Participants release, discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, the Knicks, the NBA Entities, and all of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective promotional partners, directors, officers, employees and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any liability for any damages, injury or losses (including death) to any person, or property, of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries, game play, points or email; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Challenge, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Challenge, the functionality of the match game, the tabulation of points, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Challenge-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Challenge. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants’ or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Challenge or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Challenge or website or who are in violation of these Official Rules or who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the Challenge be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Challenge and, if terminated, at its discretion, determine the Challenge Prize winners using all non-suspect points earned prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. In the event that production, seeding, printing, human, or other errors cause more than stated number of prizes to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award the stated number of prizes by random drawing among all eligible claimants who submitted legitimately received valid prize claims. In no event will Sponsor be liable for awarding more than the stated number of prizes. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these Official Rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.

DATA COLLECTION AND USE: Any information collected in connection with a Challenge will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at http://corporate.msgnetworks.com/privacy/. By entering, you are automatically opted in to receive marketing and promotional emails from Sponsor.  If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can opt-out at any time by following the unsubscribe directions included in the email.

WINNERS LIST: For the names of the Challenge Prize winners (available thirty (30) days following end of Challenge), send a #10 self-addressed stamped envelope to: Shirt Cannon Challenge Prize Winners, MSG Networks, 11 Pennsylvania Plaza, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10001, Attention: Brooke Schaub, for receipt no later than sixty (60) days following end of the Challenge.
