MONICA MCNUTT TO SERVE AS PRIMARY NEW YORK KNICKS RADIO ANALYST
McNutt to Also Return as MSG Networks Studio Analyst for Knicks Pre- and Post-Game TV Coverage

New York, NY (October 24, 2023) – MSG Networks today announced Monica McNutt will serve as the primary New York Knicks radio analyst, calling the majority of Knicks games on 98.7FM ESPN New York, where she’ll provide listeners with expert commentary throughout the 2023-24 Knicks season.

McNutt will also continue her duties as a pre- and post-game analyst for select MSG Networks’ Knicks telecasts as well.

“I’m looking forward to working with my MSG Networks team for another season and contributing this season on 98.7FM ESPN New York,” said McNutt. “I love talking Knicks basketball and can’t wait to get going.”

McNutt’s first year at MSG Networks was 2019, where she hosted Knicks alternate TV broadcasts.  She has hosted sports talk shows on MSG Networks and joined the Knicks pre and postgame studio show in 2021.

McNutt started at ESPN in 2019 as an ACC Network studio and game analyst and has gone on to become one of their most popular performers.  She has contributed to ESPN’s most recognized shows: Sportscenter, Around the Horn, First Take, NBA Today and HoopStreams, ESPN’s digital NBA pregame show. Furthermore, McNutt is now a host and analyst on ESPN’s WNBA and Women’s College Basketball studio coverage.

In 2021, McNutt participated in NBC’s coverage of the Summer Olympics. She then later served as a reporter during the 2022 and 2023 NBA Finals on ESPN and ESPN Radio and for ABC’s 2022 and 2023 NBA draft coverage. McNutt has also appeared on Fox Sports 1, CBS Sports Network and Turner/NBA TV throughout her broadcast career.

McNutt received her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in 2011, where she was a standout women’s basketball player. She then earned her master’s degree in journalism from The University of Maryland in 2013.
