New York, NY (February 24, 2017) – The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced yesterday that MSG Network (NYSE:MSGN) earned 54 New York Emmy Award nominations, more than any other New York television network or station for the 10th consecutive year. MSG Networks, which consists of MSG, MSG+ and MSGNetworks.com, received a total of 65 nominations.

The New York Emmy Awards recognize excellence in programming across television and other advanced media platforms. To be nominated for the 2017 Awards, programs had to be produced for telecast in New York State and northern New Jersey, and had to air between September 1, 2015 and August 31, 2016.

“We are honored that MSG Network has earned more New York Emmy nominations than any other local network for the 10th year in a row,” said Andrea Greenberg, president and chief executive officer, MSG Networks. “We are committed to bringing our fans exceptional programming with the highest production values and it is great to be recognized for our live games and original sports and entertainment content with 65 nominations for the company. I applaud our passionate and tireless staff on this tremendous achievement.”

MSG Networks’ New York Emmy nominations covered more than 35 different categories, ranging from sports and entertainment programming, to on-camera talent, interactive digital content, directing, editing and writing.

Award winners will be announced on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the 60th annual New York Emmy Awards ceremony to be held at The Marriott Marquis in Times Square. A full list of nominations for MSG, MSG+, and MSGNetworks.com are included below.
