MSG Networks to Telecast 50 Regular Season Games During the 2021 NHL Season
Every Islanders Game, Pregame and Postgame Show Airing on MSG Networks to Stream on MSG GO

 New York, NY (January 12, 2021) – MSG Networks, the television home of the New York Islanders, today announced the team’s telecast schedule for the upcoming 2021 NHL season, which will include a total of 50 regular season games. The first telecast will be on Thursday, January 14th at 7:00pm on MSG+2, when the Islanders open their season on the road against the Rangers, with coverage getting underway at 6:30pm.

Play-by-play announcer Brendan Burke returns for his fifth season, alongside Islanders legend and four-time Stanley Cup Champion Butch Goring, now in his 11th season as game analyst. Shannon Hogan, back for her seventh season as the team’s pregame, intermission and postgame host, will again be joined on the broadcasts by studio analyst and decorated Olympian, AJ Mleczko.

With the NHL splitting teams in four new regional divisions for this season, the Islanders will play a rotating schedule of games versus the seven other teams in the realigned East Division, facing off against each opponent eight times.

MSG Networks’ complete Islanders telecast schedule is below. All games airing on MSG Networks, in addition to the network’s pregame and postgame coverage, will also be available on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video on demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers.
