Knicks Playoff Telecast and Expanded Post-Game Coverage After All Games

New York, NY (May 20, 2021) – The Knicks exciting playoff journey begins Sunday night at 7:00pm, and MSG Networks will be there for the opening tip. Following an outstanding regular season, highlighted by All-Star Julius Randle and the emergence of second-year guard RJ Barrett, the Knicks return to the post-season in style. MSG Networks today announced its expanded telecast schedule for the team’s first round series against the Atlanta Hawks, including live coverage of Game 1 on Sunday evening, May 23rd at 7:00pm, along with exclusive pre and post-game coverage wrapped around the game.

Games 2, 3, and if necessary 5 and 6, will also air on MSG Networks. MSG Networks’ game telecasts will feature the Hall of Fame broadcast duo of 2020 Curt Gowdy Award winner Mike Breen, the signature play-by-play voice of the NBA, and Knicks legend and analyst Walt “Clyde” Frazier. Rebecca Haarlow will serve as team reporter for all home games, providing in-game, pre-game and post-game interviews. Kenny Albert will serve as play-by-play announcer for select games the network airs as well. Breen and Frazier will call both Game 1 Sunday evening and Game 2 Wednesday evening.

MSG Networks will also have exclusive pre- and post-game coverage for each game it airs throughout the series, as well as a post-game show following Game 4. Bill Pidto will host the studio and halftime coverage, alongside Alan Hahn, Wally Szczerbiak and Monica McNutt, who has previously joined the Knicks studio coverage for select games this season. Following Knicks home games, the network will also continue to air MSG P.M., featuring McNutt and co-host Kazeem Famuyide.

MSG Networks’ complete schedule for the Knicks’ first round series can be seen below. All Knicks postseason coverage airing on MSG Networks will also be available on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video on demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers.
