MSG NETWORKS ANNOUNCES TELECAST SCHEDULE FOR THE NEW YORK ISLANDERS FIRST ROUND PLAYOFF SERIES AGAINST THE CAROLINA HURRICANES
ISLANDERS PLAYOFF JOURNEY BEGINS ON MSG NETWORKS ON MONDAY, APRIL 17TH AT 7:00PM
MSG Networks to Telecast Games 1, 2, 3, and 4, and If Necessary Games 5 and 6
Game 7 To Be Determined Exclusive Pre- and Post-Game Shows to Air Before and After Every Islanders Playoff Game
New York, NY (April 16, 2023) – With the New York Islanders set to drop the puck and begin their Stanley Cup Playoffs run, MSG Networks today announced its official telecast schedule for the team’s first round matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes, starting with Game 1 at 7:00pm on Monday, April 17th. MSG Networks will have game coverage of games 1-4 of the series, and games 5 and 6 if necessary.
MSG Networks, the season-long home of the New York Islanders, will have exclusive pre-game coverage before every game of the series, and an expanded post-game show after every game as well.
MSG Networks’ game telecasts will feature play-by-play announcer Brendan Burke with analyst and four-time Stanley Cup Champion Butch Goring.
Shannon Hogan will host MSG’s home game studio coverage from UBS Arena alongside analyst and former Islander Thomas Hickey. Alan Fuehring will host coverage from Carolina.
MSG Networks’ complete schedule for the Islanders’ first round series can be seen below. All Islanders postseason coverage airing on MSG Networks will also be available on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video on demand platform.
