MSG Networks Announces Weekly Lineup of New York High School Basketball Games

Schedule to Feature Games Every Friday Night Between Top High School Basketball Programs Across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Westchester

Coverage to Begin Tonight at 7:00pm ET on MSGSN When Cardinal Hayes Hosts Stepinac in the Bronx

New York, NY (December 2, 2022) – MSG Networks today announced it will begin to provide live high school basketball coverage every week throughout the high school basketball season. The games will showcase some of the top high school basketball programs across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Westchester.

The schedule will tip off tonight at 7:00pm ET on MSGSN, when Stepinac travels to the Bronx to take on Cardinal Hayes. The lineup will feature a new matchup each week, with games airing live every Friday night from a different New York-area high school.

As part of its coverage, MSG Networks will also air select postseason games, starting with the NY Archdiocesan Championship on Saturday, February 25th. The schedule will also include the Class A and Class B Championships on Friday, March 3rd and the Class AA Championship on Sunday, March 12th.

Play-by-play announcer Jimmy Cavallo will be on the call for each game airing on MSG Networks, alongside rotating analysts Dylan Butler and Rob Pavinelli. Butler, a veteran high school sports broadcaster, and Pavinelli, the former long-time head basketball coach at St. Dominic High School on Long Island, will split game analyst duties throughout the season.

The network’s high school basketball coverage will also be available to watch on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video on demand platform.
