Pregame Coverage of Game 1 to Start at 6:30pm Tomorrow Night on MSG Network

New York, NY (May 17, 2022) – Following the Rangers’ thrilling opening round victory, MSG Networks announced today its coverage plans for the team’s second round series against Carolina. The network will air a half-hour pregame show and an expanded one-hour postgame show for every second round telecast, starting with Game 1 tomorrow night at 6:30pm.

Rangers legend and current MSG Networks analyst Henrik Lundqvist, who worked every game during the Rangers’ opening round series, will return to the studio for Games 3 and 4 in the second round, alongside host John Giannone and Rangers analyst Steve Valiquette.

Former Rangers goalie Martin Biron will join the Rangers broadcast team as a studio analyst for Games 1 and 5 (if necessary). Biron played 16 years in the NHL, including his last four seasons with the Rangers. He currently serves as a Sabres studio analyst for MSG Western New York.

Giannone and Valiquette will continue to anchor the network’s coverage for Games 6 and 7 as well if necessary. All Rangers postseason coverage airing on MSG Networks will also be available on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video on demand platform.
